Senator Ron Johnson to Speak at Concordia University [FREE EVENT]

The Young Americans for Freedom chapter at Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin, will host conservative icon and Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson to speak this Friday, April 19th, at 10:00 A.M. The event is one of many impressive speaker events held by the young conservative group, which started on campus in the fall of last year.  This is your chance to ask your senator a question! In addition to speaking, Senator Johnson will answer audience questions. Folks and students from left, right, and center will be in attendance to meet the senator.  “This is such an important event because, especially right now, the people of Wisconsin are feeling disconnected from the happenings in D.C. By providing the opportunity for young people to speak to their senator, we are helping them elevate their voices in our American democracy,” said Nick Taylor, chairman of the Young Americans for Freedom chapter. He continued, “Also, Wisconsin is arguably the most vital swing state in this election cycle, so it’s important to get people motivated and educated.”   The event is free to attend and will be held in the Terrace Room, room 114, located on the second floor of the Albrecht building at Concordia University in Mequon. Portions of the Nashville school shooter Audrey Hale manifesto were leaked Monday after months of debate regarding its release. Steven Crowder, host of the Louder with Crowder  talk show, shared  images from the manifesto. The documents released by Crowder reveal the intentions behind Hale's deadly attack. U.S. National Debt Surpasses $100K Per Person

The rapidly growing debt of the U.S. federal government has hit another milestone, topping more than $100,000 in debt per person. While the U.S. population and the U.S. national debt are large numbers that are difficult to calculate, the rough debt estimate and rough population estimate end up at about $100,000 of federal debt per person in the U.S. The U.S. Census population clock estimates the U.S. population at nearly 336 million. Meanwhile, the U.S. Treasury Department estimates the national debt is nearly $34 trillion. “The national debt just exceeded $100,000 per citizen,” Rep. John James, R-Mich., wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. “This should send a message to the White House that this reckless federal spending is at a breaking point.” The U.S. Treasury confirmed in the middle of last month that in the first month of this fiscal year, the federal government had a deficit of $67 billion.
