All eyes are on the Mequon-Thiensville recall election, in which conservative parents mobilized in an attempt to take back four seats on the School Board. With 8 of 11 units reporting, all of the conservative recall challengers were losing by large amounts. Critical race theory, academic achievement concerns, and the district's response to the pandemic have been driving forces in the closely watched election.

With 8 of 11 units reporting, incumbent Akram Khan was leading Kristopher KITTELL, 58.11% TO 41.80%/ Incumbent Chris Schultz was leaning Scarlett Johnson, 58.93% to 41/05%. Incumbent Erik Hollander was leading challenger Charles Lorenz, 60.03% to 39.93%/ Incumbent Wendy Francour was leading Cheryle Rebholz 58.73% to 41.21%.
